We may hear everyday in some bland form of propaganda or another how important exercise is for health but that cookie cutter answer highlighting the ‘cardivascular benefits’ or ‘importance of weight loss’ or

Not AT ALL knocking on gyms when I highlight this, but have you ever noticed how completely decked out all walls are with screens and mind numbing entertainment of every kind?? Believe me, just forcing myself to show up at the gym and then not being willing to give up and go home was a fundemental part of the mind games I played with myself when trying to break into the habit of a consistant gym routine.
It’s delightful for me to report now that my body is so programed for a work out around 3 pm it’s a pleasure to show up these days - It ook my monkey meat-suite mind forever to catch up with the program but once it sampled the fruit that tree was growing… Well, there are alwasy still off days, but we’ve come to an understanding, my meat-suite and I.
